I wanted to know: To break up, break through, dissolve two-dimensionality. And then create something new, from 2D to 3D. From the surface into the body. Cardboard boxes, paper pages, corrugated cardboard, snippets, rearing up like stormy waves, glued and pasted. Full of storm and urge, they fly towards the eye. You see deserts, you climb mountains, look into clear lakes and blue glaciers, you recognize the earth as if from a satellite. A world of color in 3D! Can you see it too? Or are they heads immersed in color and structures? Silent and wordless. I was inspired by Antoni Tàpies, who integrated everyday objects into his paintings and installations, forming textures out of sand and paint...
